New arrivals: Beverley and Bonnie

Meet our newest residents, rescued turkeys who we’ve named Beverley and Bonnie. They are now safe at the sanctuary forever. They are so sweet and curious!

They need some extra care as they have bumblefoot. Such young chicks with bumblefoot just shows what horrific conditions factory farmed birds are kept in. We wrap their feet and soak them in an Epsom salt paste to draw out the infection and change their shoes every other day. They are starting to heal and will soon be out and about exploring.
