Winter at the Sanctuary

The cold weather and short days can only mean one thing - it’s officially winter!

It’s often more difficult to maintain the sanctuary in the winter, but it is totally worth the extra effort to see all of the residents warm, cosy and safe.

We have recently had some snow which came with its own problems such as frozen pipes, but our amazing volunteers persevered throughout the tough (and slippery!) conditions.

We wanted to share some snow pictures, taken by our wonderful volunteers.
